The Best Blending Foundation : L’Oréal True Match Foundation

The main thing for me when it comes to foundation is that I want great coverage, but I don’t want it to seem obvious that I am wearing foundation. What I mean is, I don’t want that caked on look that many less-than-perfect foundations deliver. That’s where this baby comes in.

L’Oréal True Match provides great coverage with a natural feel. it is pretty thin in consistency, which allows for perfect blending. It says “super-blendable makeup” on the bottle and it definitely lives up to that. You can layer this one without patchiness and without it looking too heavy. Click here for tips on applying your foundation. I do recommend wearing a moisturizer with an SPF of at least 30 everyday. Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer is perfect for that. This foundation also has SPF 17, which gives your skin more protection.

L’Oréal True Match Foundation comes in various shades. Find Your Shade Here. There are warm shades and neutral shades for a cooler, more ivory skin tone.

I use W3 (see above photo’s) and even though it is a little darker than my natural skin tone, I like that bit of colour it gives me and after a few minutes it also smoothly adjusts to your skin tone.

A lot of foundations come in a pump style bottle, which means a lot of wasted product when it runs low. This foundation is just a small bottle with a lid, simple right? And very convenient! It sells for around $17.99 which is not bad considering it will last you for a while and considering what a great product it is! It is oil free and perfect for girls with an oily skin. I have used foundations before that caused me to break out, but my skin stays clear using this. Two thumbs up for L’Oréal True Match!

  1. I'm using this at the moment and can't decide whether I like it or not, it definitely does everything you say but it's the texture that gets me a little bothered. Do you find that it can feel a little powdery?

  2. Hmm have you maybe tried using a moisturizer underneath ? I tried it before just by itself and yes like you say it can tend to feel somewhat powdery but this is easily fixed with either moisturizer underneath or even a BB cream as a base :)

Thanks for the link , I will definitely check out your giveaway !!!
